VetBioNet (Veterinary Biocontained facility Network for excellence in animal infectious research and experimentation) is an infrastructure project funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation program. The goal of VetBioNet is to strengthen European capacity and expertise to address the challenges of animal diseases and zoonotic diseases by building a permanent network of Europe's leading vetted research infrastructures, international organizations and industries, and providing services.

Under VetBioNet, free access to high-security laboratories, analytical platforms, sample collections and services from Europe's leading research infrastructures in animal disease research is offered. The offer is aimed at public and private research institutions that do not have the necessary infrastructure themselves.

More information about the offer can be found in the VetBioNet newsletter.
