Spring School 2023

Spring School 2023 - Science Communication

Talking about Zoonoses – how to communicate science

During the COVID-19 pandemic it became obvious how valuable science communication is. But how to communicate properly and how to get started? Are social media suitable for science communication? What added value can science communication provide for zoonoses researchers as well as for the community? And how to deal with controversial topics? These questions, among others, will be addressed in lectures and interactive elements at the Spring School 2023 in Hannover on April 18, 2023, which is dedicated to science communication. Participation is open to all junior scientists who are members of the Zoonoses Platform (you can easily become a member here). Please note that the number of places at the Spring School are limited. The places will be allocated after the end of the registration period and the participants will receive a corresponding notification. The participation is creditable for the One Health Certificate.
